I am a buffalo from Tennessee,
I like to laugh, and I’d like to see,
What all the new first years doing now,.
Orientation is starting soon,
And I hope they all have a good time.

Dreaming of torpedoing frogs in a water sanitation plant as I listen to Charles Darwin sing the hymn of the mariner and play the triangle

Here I am,
Somewhere,
When here and there,
Are nowhere,
And there and then,
Are far away,
And yet you need to see,
That where I am,
Is parallel,
To a hundred different lines,
Each one moving slowly,
To somewhere far away,
And when they do converge,
That’s where we need to meet,
And together we will rule the world,
And bend the lines so well,
As to make the world more livable,
And love forever more.

Singing in the rain
Singing in the rain,
The rain which is my shower,
The shower gives me power,
And this power from my shower,
Makes me never want to cower,
So I can give someone a flower,
And make them want to sing!

Will you be needing me to work for you today?
The question of,
The day and month,
The hour and the week,
Is will you be,
Needing me,
To work for you,
Today?
The question is sincere,
For the answer lies so near,
Will you be,
Needing me,
To work for you,
Today?

I am totally torn between tying tortillas and teaching teabags to tap-dance

Where the sidewalk stops,
And the grass begins,
That’s where I’ll meet you know now,
In this grassy field,
Where the houses end,
And birds do sing out loud,
Join me right there,
So we can sing,
About the peace of time,
For if we do,
All join in song,
Than no one will have fear,
That war will come,
For we will live,
Forever in this world,
And when song does come,
We will have learned,
That killing is so wrong,

To dam up a river only holds so long
Today is the day
That we play,
And do pray,
That the way,
Of the day,
Never goes away.
But I fear that this way,
May change too soon,
And if this does happen,
We will have to pay.
I will not let this happen,
I will try to turn,
The course time is headed,
And the way things do chance,
But I know this is hard,
And right now I’m alone,
It is easer to resist,
Than to move another way,
But in time,
I do know,
That to dam up a river,
Only holds so long,
But to change the direction,
To divert the flow,
Will last much longer,
Over time.

Humidity is dampness,
So dreadful you can’t bear.
The mold that grows,
Like weeds or grass,
Cannot be cleaned in summers heat,
And if you even try,
The cleanest it will ever get,
Is hardly worth the stress.
For no motivation comes at all,
When you are drenched in sweat,
You’d rather go and drown in ice,
Or pack and move up north,
However now you’re headed home,
And what to wonders eyes?
An air condition has arrived,
Your daddy brought it home,
And as you step inside the room,
You cannot thank him more!

Where, when, who, why,
And all the what ifs,
The questions keep poring,
And it’s getting kind of boring,
But the alternative scarier,
For if we stopped with the questions,
We wouldn’t progress,
There aren’t any answers,
When no questions are asked,
And our brains slowly decay
